STFC Server 84 Rules of Engagement
The currently published Server 84 operating rules, presented in the New Look.
Core protections
Survey ships and miners
Survey ships are protected when under protected cargo and actively mining, in token-entry systems, or under protected cargo in territory. A zero-node message is required before attacking a zero-node miner in regular space.
Warships and bases
Warships are valid targets except in token systems or while participating in an armada. Bases follow “shield or share,” subject to the published Ocus hardship and Incursion provisions.
Token systems, armadas, and territory
Token systems are protected from PVP subject to the Anomaly Sample exception. Ships in active armada circles are protected unless a published exception applies. Contested territory activity is limited to alliances that joined with intent to take the territory.
Events and forfeiture
Published event-specific restrictions apply in designated systems. Any ship that engages in PVP forfeits ROE protection. A declaration of war or KOS negates ROE protections and restrictions.
This is a redesigned public summary of the current Server 84 record. Command should move the complete controlled rule set into a published general-access KMS article before the legacy page is retired.
