  1. Effective immediately the Enterprise's command staff will be as follows:

First Officer and Science Officer:  Lieutenant Colonel Zoe Carter

Chief Operations Officer:  Chief Petty Officer 63Impala

Please welcome Chief 63Impala as our new Chief of Operations and pass along congratulations to LCDR Blanco as he begins his tour as Executive Officer aboard the VALIANT!

ENTERPRISE crew will be assigned to departments for convenience and career development.  Our goal is to "build the bench" of the next generation of midgrade and senior leaders both for ENTERPRISE and for Starfleet.

I wish you all the best.  Make preparations for getting underway!

CDR SailorJohn, Acting Captain, U.S.S. Enterprise

    Second Shift:   0001-0600

    Third Shift:       0601-1200

    Fourth Shift:     1201-1800

All Star Fleet personnel are requested to have maximum online presence during the following periods:

    21 Nov:  First Shift

    22 Nov: Third Shift

Game Calendar will be posted separate cover

Emphasis on RECRUITING, and Fleet PRESENCE in supported game platforms

As always, real life events take priority, but with many having 22 - 25 NOV as vacation days, or light work schedules, this is an ideal time to push for Fleet recruiting goals, enjoy cooperative game play, and maximize our Fleet readiness for planned - and unplanned - operations.

  3. LT,

Interesting development with life imitating art.  With NASA confirming that some form of "warp drive" is possible, with sufficient power, then who knows where this will take humans.  I hope to the Federation as envisioned, but without the catastrophic wars between then and now.

  4. After many frustrating attempts, I am discontinuing play of Star Trek Bridge Crew.  If you do not have broadband internet and a gaming optimized computer, do not attempt to play this game.  While enjoyable, it is problematic for less than perfect internet access.   Also, as pointed out by LTJG Danny, running TeamSpeak AND Bridge Crew at the same time often results in very poor performance.  I understand this will continue as a Fleet supported game, but I cannot do so due to bandwidth.  I will continue focus on World of Warships and Star Trek Online.

    Very respectfully,

    LTJG SailorJohn64.
